Orbán’s anti-Brussels rhetoric never contains any hint of Huxit; he would have too much to lose. But it affects the community of law that underpins the EU.
The country must avoid just replacing the driver in the seat of a captured state machinery - by increasing inclusion and pluralism in governance. This will be impossible without EU and NATO assistance.
The protests might even help to revive Turkey's moribund accession process to the EU.
