Thatcher: Al Jazeera interview with Anthony Barnett

Anthony writes: After listening to the BBC's mid-day coverage and as I started setting down my own immediate reaction in a piece for this website which unlike many was not written beforehand, Al Jazeera asked me to come down to their London studio. I was interviewed from Doha, and if I am frowning it is partly because the camera was 20 meters away in a large empty studio. It is striking that they asked me about her sale of arms to Saddam Hussein, which strangely has gone unmentioned in the mainstream UK media.
