Movements for change, international lessons

Published:

Just a short introduction to the post that appears immediately below this in OK. It is written by this week's Front Page editor of openDemocracy, Jack DuVall an expert in non-violent protest and how it can achieve its goals. This debate has restarted here with the Milibank occuption of the roof of Tory HQ, covered by Guy Aitchison, and last night there was a feminist vigil outside parliament to mark the 100th anniversary of Black Friday. I think it is very important to share experience, realise that these issues have been argued over for more than a century and that there is much to learn from those who have worked on these issues like Jack.
